Since Tokis-Phoenix started the dream tank topic and everyone is just screaming for indoor gigantic ponds, I'd think I'll start a similar thread with feasible projects. Something you could actually accomplish with say a tad bit more money or space.

For me, I'll be humble. I just want a 10 gallon dwarf puffer tank. That is what I want for my next project. I think I'd enjoy watching the puffers do their thing.

I want to build a big tank in my room by the corner wall. that would be soooo pretty!!!!!!

i wouldnt mind a pond that i can keep out on my balcony for my goldfish or tleast get them a bigger tank, so i can move my female bettas into the current goldfish tank. iv been looking around and its quite possible in my opinion....... now to only convince the mother and the bf.

I would have to say once I finish or at least feel done with my project of my 10 gallon nano-reef tank I want to make a 5 gallon heavily planted tank completely custom. The tank im talking about is in my signature. I would get a bare glass 5 gallon cube and build a little stand and hood for it out of oak and molding. Get some high output compact florescent lightsand get some plants of course! I would house 3 neon-tetras in the cube because I think neons are briliant colored against the green plants. I would use black gravel.

It will be a summer project seeing that this semester really drained me. Darn live rock!

Well once all of our current tanks are done (planted and such)...
I'd love for my next project to be a 20 gallon long sorority tank for female bettas.
Or get a slightly larger tank... divide off 2 ends for male bettas, and leave the middle section for a small community area for various other fish.
Like if it was still the 20 gallon long... divide about 3-5 gallons on both sides.. and leave the middle with about 10 or so gallons.
Would be SO awesome.. well at least it is in my head! hehe

First is a 128g Aquaponics set up. I cant wait to try it out, the stocking rates in aquaponics set ups are just outrageous LOL, and they work which is more amazing. I've got all the parts etc, am just waiting for the silicone to cure so I can fill it up.

The other project thats in the woodwork is a small 5g bumblebee goby brackish tank.

converting my Garage into a "chill-out" room and putting my current 4foot tank in there along with my new purchase - an 8 footer
I am going to stick the 4 footer at right angles to the 8 footer to make an L Shape looking tank.
The whole thing will be a South American River setup

Its feasible but i doubt i've got the time....
I'd love to make a realistic, large, planted hillstream tank for my beaufortia loaches and whitecloud minnows with a calmer, heated area for my wild gourami. I'd be in rapture if i ever acheived it, or even better if i could afford to get one custom made.

Would like either a 20litre fully planted tank with the best plant equipment (lights, co2) with a few pygmy corys. Or have a 3ft fully planted with the best plant gear (lights, co2) with a big community of corys. Nothing flash and quite achievable hoping to get it done in the next few months :)

I'm hoping to get a 5ft tank for mother's Day, not far off now. I'm thinking cichlids! But will have to do the research first, I can do that while the tank is cycling, if I get one that is!

next project is closing down some tanks!

however once the house is done and we've a bit more time i'd love some channa guacha

I want to keep on testing (and possibly breeding) small neutral/hardwater species. Nano fish for nano tanks. Can't see myself slipping another tank past the family just at the moment (no 6 now up and running if only as a temporary hospital tank), but I could have a bit of space if I reshuffle+sell some juvies. Would like to get more merry widows, try some pseudomugil species, a colony of normally coloured heterandria formosas, sawbwa resplendens, pygmy corys, habrosus, sparkling gouramis, dwarf danios (not all at once, evidently). I still have 50 pounds I was given for my birthday in December, my idea would be to slip up to London and spend that in Wholesale Tropicals- if I ever get a Saturday to myself.

And if they ever do let me have another tank, it would be a shelldweller setup with multies. Eventually I also hope that one of our livebearer experts will get hold of some ataeniobus toweri...and they will breed...and I will be able to have some...
