Hey guys,

So tank has been running 3 days now with live plants. Dragon stone and red wood.

I’ve noticed this on the rocks and wood it’s not algae I’m actually unsure what it is. No ammonia added or anything as of yet.
I’m referring to the white spots.

No buddy, but a silly answer but it’s definitely not oxygen bubbles. They look solid white I’ve not rubbed them yet

Lol trying to help any way I can, I wouldn’t rub them until another (more knowledgable) member of the forum can assist :)

Thanks a lot. I removed one just now and it seems there like hard bits white rock for example haha. I don’t have a clue what they actually are! Maybe it’s filter media from the filter….

Just had a Google, nice tank by the way and sounds like your doing it the right way too! :) what are you thinking of stocking it with?

It really does look like air bubbles. I would try to rub one and see what happens. My first thought was they were nerite snail eggs, but their eggs are all uniform size/shape.
