I just noticed on my egeria densa there are long things hanging down from it and it is attached it does look like a root but why would a root hang down threw the middle of the plant and its not just the one there are a few..

I can't see the picture, it says "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /albums/s308/irons4life07/ on this server."

Without the picture though, I'm guessing they're just roots. Roots don't have to be in the bottom of the plant, stem plants like to stick roots out of their stems above the substrate for whatever reason sometimes. You can just snip them off if they bother you, the plant won't mind.

Hello mate, when trying to post pictures, the easiest way is to sign yourself up to www.photobucket.com its free.

Upload the photo's there and when you make a thread here just copy and paste the 'IMG' link under each picture you have uploaded. Easy as that!

That is what i have been doing and always have done.

When i post it with [i m g] link [ /i m g] it says You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board? when its what i normally do...

Have you tried using the 'Insert Image' buttton and then just paste in the direct link to the image?

it looks as though u named the photo something colourful and the swear filter on this forum has picked it up and changed the offending parts of the url to ############ making it useless. rename the photo to something simple like pic1 and upload it again

I've had the same problem uploading photos and I've never named my photo's dodgy....they are normally named...fish, photo or something simple like that haha

well the urls are pseudo random so its possible to have one filtered even if the original filename wasnt offensive

chiggy are they white and yes they
can grow from half way up the plant
nowt to worry about
