i just bought this power head at my lfs and when i got it setup and ploped it in my 10 gal a little worm swam out it was freaky its really small like this long: ------

i dont have picks cause it got sucked up in the filter post fast!

no guys this thing was squirming and everything it tried to get away from the filter it was ALIVE.

I dont mean to be rudely blunt, but what do you want to know? You had a "worm" swim out of a thing you bought, and? ( i am seriosuly not trying to be "mean" but i seriously dont know what you want me to do about it)

i think hes worried it might well cause harm to his fish
what colour was this worm thing?
maybe just maybe it was a coolie loach or failing that it could have been a white worm?
would worry to much mate the fish will probally eat it if they see it anyhow

As a side note some people (myself not included, just thinking of others) may find the term 'holy crap' offensive, especially when it is referring to a relatively minor issue.

why is it minor this sites for helping people and texas did not have a clue what it was!!!! If its trival or a emergency obviously he thought to him self,,,"I know who can advise me" that wonderful website tropical fish forums" so instead of having a pop at him just tell him its nothing to worry about mate or oh my god you need to do this that the other!!!!!or otherwise dont reply its not manditory

It would've freaked me out as well. I've never seen that happen either. It's probably ok though.

why is it only wierd stuff only happens to this guy...how did you buy a power head that wasn't boxed up? did he just get it straight out of one of his tanks?

it was a Maxi jet 600 and it came in a box and it looked like it was in the store a long time.
