those sound like algae. on one of my breeders it has turned nearly complately green. so i pulled up a bit and its surface is rough and quite hard to rub off.

any advice?
i have never had this before just making sure. if it is why is it suddenly came. i have 3 live plants but this is the first time so i don't know. i had my tank since december.

does "breeders" refer to breeding fish, a breeding tank, a breeding net, or something else?

Perhaps you can post a couple pictures if you have trouble describing the problem in english. (again, not intended to be an insult)
