What is the best way to post live rock.
wrapped in wet newspaper seems to be the most common option then boxed.
also heard of wrapped in wet nespaper then arapped in clingfilm to stop box etc getting wet
is this ok?
also say if posted live rock and it gets there 2days later is there really much die off or not as long as it still wet with the newspaper?

There will be die off, many organisms (had to type that very carefully!!) in the rock will die off along with worms etc

Well I wouldn't buy it like that, main issue is probably temperature not water in those circumstances. Are you buying or selling and is it for new set up or adding to one that's already cycled?

In sealable bags would be best. With some salt water (not submersed obviously) but enough so the water and moisture don't escape. And then in a box/container. Die off will be inevitable tho. Especially 48 hours.

You will need heat packs also.
