It will most likely be caused by parasites, is there any signs of white spots on the fish?
what are the water stats like?

Parasites attack fish when they become stressed.
fish get stressed due to poor water condition, or if they are being bullied by other fish.

As davo said its proberbly internal parasites and the fish is 'combating' them

The fish may end up damaging scales and eyes by rubbing on the gravel or ornaments

nah its not white spot i guess it must be the parasite thing will methelene blue solve the parasites then?

As said above what is the water quality like? (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph)

i'm finding that out on the weekend because i'm going to do a weekly water change 2moro and then get test kit saturday=/
