oh no!!!

i lost a couple at the time of this and one killi died of what i thought was dropsy but maybe it was tb and he developed different symptoms as they can pinecone with tb

aww bless, i had a few platys died looking like that,( back when i was new to the hobby) was really sad, not a thing could be done, but never did work out what it was, sorry about your loss

Did the spine bend while it was alive.
Bent spines don't always mean fish tb, it can mean old age, internal parasites.

Yes dropsy can also be a sign of tb.
I would take a look at the link to see if any of those symtoms match.

to be honest im not sure as i didnt notice till afterwards i had a couple of deaths like this plus one killi that died of pineconed bloated couldnt swim was upside down etc. this was at the same time as one shown.

Have you taken a look at that link.
Internal parasites like camallanous worm can cause bent spines, and also they can bloat up with internal parasties.

Also you can't just jump in saying fish tb without asking questions and leaving links for the member to take a look.
I learnt my lesson from that in the past and got told off.
