What Gravel Should I Use?

hey every1,
im gonna start a new 60g tank with mostly small fish (livebearers and tetras maybe a frog or two)
what colour and type of gravel(not sand please) would look the best?

p.s i hav about 1.2 watts of light per gallon

Well, I would use sand. But if it has to be gravel then I would use some round/soft shaped small gravel that is dark colored.

It really depends on what youre putting in the aquarium. What color plants, decorations, etc. In my past experience I have always used gravel that comes with predominantly brown gravel with varying shades of it. I've found that this works well with most decorations and plants that I have used as well as giving it a little more of a natural feel as opoosed to blue or neon green gravel or something crazy like that.

i would use sand, but the gravel in somethings fishy here's signature looks pretty nice

If you are ever gonna keep corys (and why wouldnt you ) i would go with small rounded gravel. I got a bag of gravel for my 7gallon tank and its black with small white stones in it and it looks really good with plants
