i think the sweatener with my parents is there setting up a tank and its there fault i like fish any way

I hate that!! My largest tank causes me to spill water on myself every time I approach it with a bucket. The fact that I have to lift it to head height to tip it in might have something to do with it.....
No pressies at all for me this crimbo. My kids get them, I don't. *sigh* But I did just buy the 6 footer and a new external for it.

That is a shame Miss Dib Dabs. Have you tried using a siphon to refill the tank instead of tipping the water in? I find that when I tip it in I get soaked but when I siphon it in like this I get to stay dry.
