What Fish Is This Please?

what fish is this (see pic) ? i did have a pair of them but lost one and my black ghost knife fish

  when changing tanks well gutted , and  would like to get another one as he seem loney as  just stays in one place in the tank  now

no mate sorry hard to take one that's all the fins he got there pink with a dark blue going though them his about 2" and sliver

Checkered barb? At the end of the day, it looks like a schooling fish, so unless you're wanting to get a group of 5+ it probably isn't worth replacing 1. IMO.

It is actually (im 99.9 % sure anyhoo!) it is a barb knows at Puntius stoliczkanus. Not seen it go by any common name, maybe only Stolicz Barb but dont see it often enough for it to have common name.
