what filters do you have?

Emperor 400 For my 55 Gallon and Aquaclear 20 for my 10 Gallon Isolation/Quarantine tank.

Fluval 2+ (good for our 24" tank)

Fluval 3+ (good for our 30" tank)

Fluval 4+ (was ok for our 4ft)
Fluval 304 external (now on the 4ft aswell - good filter)

Fluval Biolife (its poo)
Aquaclear 301 powerhead and filter (very good - but clogs up quick as it is so good)

Rena Filstar 1 (great small filter - its on out 5gal fry tank)

3gal with Undergravel - It'll do its job nicely - leave it alone!

Eheim ecco. (the middle one of the range) bit OTT for a 100L tank but does a very good job.

Also makes a brilliant danio eggs/fry collector.

I thought my filteration system was kinda extreme (~15x/hr)...you're hitting 20x/hr.

my 140g has a Rena XP3 external for mechanical filtration, and an Eheim Wet/Dry 2229 for biological.
My 50g has the standard Juwel internal along with a Fluval 204 (useless filter!!)
my 20g has a fluval 204
and my 26g Zebra Plec tank has a fluval 3 internal along with an Eheim Ecco 2235 external filter, plus 2 600l/h powerheads connected to sponges for current. that makes the total turnover in this tank 635 gallons per hour!!!!!
