What Exactly Is He?

I picked this boy up last night and he's in a bowl until I can get my 5 gal up and running...just couldn't pass him up because I love his color and attitude On his bowl at the store, it said he was a Roundtail. I haven't seen any called that anywhere else and I don't know exactly what you'd call him because I haven't seen any pics of any fish around here that really look like him

Around 2 - 2 1/2"

The guy at the pet store told me that CTs and VTs are just smaller than this type. I really don't know...until recently, I didn't even know there were different tail types

I was really torn between him, another blue/purple Plakat and a light blue/white spotted VT. I almost got all of them

The VT was really torn up and looked horrible in its little cup (which probably held about 1/2 C of water) I wanted to get him just to let him out of that cup so he could stretch his fins and learn how to swim I might go back to get him...I don't know. Bah.

Cute plakat! They were originally bred for fighting so they tend to have larger bodies, larger mouths (they always look grumpy!), and are more aggressive than the show types. They're my favorites.
