So what is actually being said is 'pie pie'...

I'm in CT and I've heard people say "pie" "pizza" & "pizza pie"... I think it just depends on where the person has been transplanted from.... let's not even get into what a grinder is called in the States....

I see a lot fo people saying my "poorly" fish all the time. Is this a saying common in the UK? I imagine it means "sickly" fish but I want to make sure.

also worth noting it can mean feeling sorry for aswell,

i.e

Poor person
as a sign of bad happening and feeling sorry for the person
