What Do You Think Of This Fish?

For all you guys who have owned the cherry barb, what do you think of this fish?

Would you recommend it and if so why?

What are the personalitys of the ones you own/ed?

My friend wants some but would like to know other peoples opinions first.

I saw some fish the other week that reminded me of Cherry Barbs, namely Burmese Rosy Loaches...

Lovely little fish that might even be smaller than Cherry Barbs, whose scientific name is actually meaningless (its not official at all to taxologists)! Must admit I was severly tempted by them after finding out that Aquajardin's label suggesting 8cm was so wrong, as they would be great in a "micro fish" tank like I have with my Filament Glassfish.
