What Do You Keep On Top Of Your Tank/s?

Nothing on top of the tank as the light hangs over the top Although I do have a teddy my partner brought me for valantines that has to be next to the tank

Nothing on top of my 55 gallon tank.

On top of my 29 gallon...usually just a cup of whatever I'm drinking while sitting and watching tv^^ lol

All of my fish stuff is in the cupboard under my 55 gallon tank.

I used to keep food on the top, until I think it was oldman that said something about the lights? making the food go off?? maybe I just dreamed that post.

I remember that post too. I believe my response was "Sneaks over and removes food from the top of my tank" !!

My flake food and algae wafers seem to have made a home on top of my tank. They should really go in the cupboard but I just can't be bothered to bend down in the morning

I have nothing on mine but if the wife had her way there would be photos of our grandaughter on the top of the tank like every other flat level surface in our home. I am also in and out the tank and never put things back where I find them so the wife knows its not worth having it to put stuff on, as it wont be on there long enough.

the one on the garage has my wifes business sign, about 30 chair covers for weddings ina suit bag, some ferrari cars, a test kit, a couple of slate caves!! our garage is a mess and everything gets dumped on top of it

I saw those slate caves on ebay for £30! I wont be paying that money and have stared a search for some slate. Managed to find a thick piece which im going to try and split, which no doubt will fail... but still. I shall have to tief some slate roofing tiles from somewhere!

On the top of my tank I put my hand towels, the rio 240 aquarium lights get pretty warm and dry the towels out pretty quick ready for another water change...

My sister just bought in bulk a load of slate for her garden, I bought 5 massive bits off her in varying thickness for £10...just finished breaking them up which took some effort, had to really smack the things with a hammer. They came out in good shapes so I should be able to make a decent natural looking cave system soon
