what do YOU have in your 10gallon?

1) lots of guppies and 3 cories (the guppies really do multiply like rabbits)

2) a trio of guppies, my last adult platy (her babies are in a fry tank) and 2 ottos

Lightly planted w/ rocks and wood, dark substrate and dark background.

Fluval 1 hang on filter, no heater, 2*23 watt compact fluorescent lights.

Only has 1 male betta right now, I'm planning on moving him and getting a few cories and a female betta, or a few lamp-eyed killis and a female betta.

goldfish fry in one, and two mountain minnows maybe more one betta and two adf's

but if your looking for an idea the best thing to try would be some dwarf african shelldwelling cichlids

1.) 3 platys & an albino bristlenose.

2.) Half a dozen small bristlenose plecs, quarintine just ended, need to be moved to other tanks.

3.) An airstone & heater, waiting for next angelfish spawn.

4.) Empty, dust breeding colony.

5.) Back up dust colony.

Tolak

light blue paint....

the only ten gallon container in the house that I'm aware of is a commercial grade paint can...

I used to have 2 blue rams and 5 neon tetras, but the rams were getting stressed from being in a small environment so I moved them all to my 46 gallon and started a nano-reef. My wallet is *really* hurting from that decision

Are you ready?

1. 3 angel fish (about the size of quarters) 1 is light marble, the other 2 are black lace (Domino, Flitter, Flicker)

2. Two red eared slider turtles and a few culled molly fry (Mickey and Sushi, the culls have no names)

3. 1 stripeless blushing angel fish (about the size of a silver dollar coin) and 6 neon tetras (He'll be getting a new home before he is big enough to munch his roomies) (Shy Baby and The First Years)

4. 3 guppies (I am hoping there will be more soon) (Cauda, Daisy, Violet)

5. One male albino sailfin molly and 2 young female black mollies (school genetics experiment) (Apollo, Persephone, Lucky)

6. One rather small (about 2 inches) goldfish who will get his own pond after we move (Yay) (Weasley)

1. Planted, black sand, breeding pair of L. ocellatus (Whitestrain), about 15 - 20 six week old fry, 5 dithers (WCMM).

2. Planted, play sand, 6 juvie L. multifasciatus (2M/4F). I noticed 2 batches of fry this week :hyper: . Half the colony (1M/2F) will be moved to another tank. I would suggest 1 male and 2 or 3 females to anyone starting a 10g Multie tank.

Here's pics of them when I first got them:

3. Planted, play sand, 2 female platys, 1 female Molly fry, 3 panda cories, 6 pygmie cories, 2 Cherry red shrimp.

All 3 tanks have Aquaclear 50 (200). :flex:

-Honey Gourami (Sunny)
-2 (adult) female guppies
-3 melini cories (Crookshanks, Mrs. Norris)(The last one doesnt have a name...)
-Some guppy fry, which have to be given away soon :( :byebye:

 Hope you are planning on upgrading for those angels and those turtles. My brother bought 2 red-eared turtles from the flea market and wanted to keep them in a 10 gallon as they were quarter size when he got them. One ended up being about 5 inches in length and the other one about 8 or 9 inches. :hyper: They create a lot of waste and are quite dirty, so I hope you have GREAT filtration on that 10 gallon.

I think the turtles will also eat the smaller fish as they get bigger.

Oh yessss.

Special turtle filters...water changes...it's cool. My space is limited right now, but won't be by the time they get bigger. They'll be moving into a 20 long soon, and later something bigger.

I got my #1 res at the flea market around thanksgiving. In January I adopted another that had been living in a turtle lagoon (think bettahex) She said she had bought it 2 years ago (at the flea market) but it was the same size as mine. Since then mine has grown but hers hasn't. Can you say "stunted?" Anyway...the 10gal was a temp home from the beginning, no problem while they are tiny. They grow slower than oscars :D

The angels are just babies. They are looking to get first dibs on my new 55 when I get it next week. Not sure how many will be going in, research on bioload and temperament isn't always reliable. I learned that the hard way. Most likely my favorite will be getting the 55 to himself (no other angels, I mean) The others are getting smaller (than 55g) digs.

In one of my 10gal tanks I got about 10+guppies 3 adult females and the rest juvenile males and females and 3 oto's. In the other I have one combtail betta. :)
