What Do You Do?

Does anyone else get the urge to play around with their tanks even though it's not time for any scheduled maintenance? I know I sure as heck do, and it usually leads to me buying stuff. What do you do?! (I need ideas before I start buying stuff!!)

I do, but unfortunatly I am quite busy so don't get to play as much as I like

I usually get little urges for mini projects, like at the moment I am busy attempting to attach java moss to some slate and bogwood. Plus I get irritated when I can see poop on the sand - I think my fish save it all up until just AFTER I have finished cleaning >.<
