Basically i have a 240l tank which houses 2 x blue acara and 3 x jack dempseys as well as other various fish. I have no problems execpt when the acaras are breeding which is every fortnight and its never too much of a problem in the tank. But over the last few days ive noticed 2 of the dempseys are really aggressive to everything in the tank and it turns out theyve also laided eggs. Should i see how the fish cope with the 2 breeding pairs or should i rehome a pair?

Im sure its over stockd but never had any real problems with it. Plenty of cover

I would say they are being aggressive because you are overstocked.... they are worried about the survival of the babies
