I like using the droppers because I hate having to measure with other ones, even if they are cheaper.
I was just saying because i've seen what pure R/O can do to a Betta. There pigment fades to a white-ish/gray and they get lathargic and won't eat. It was a moreorless general statement. I didn't mean to be bluntDon't worry Danno, I use minerals in my RO water for all my tanks.I hope you people using RO use 'R/O Right' or some kind of mineral replacement powder. RO can be very dangerous for organisms living in the water. It is so pure that it pulls the minerals out of the fish via osmotic regulation (Hypotonic, Hypertonic).
Declorinators have been tested before by some people and it has shown that Prime is one of the best. That is what I use.
If you use RO make sure that you add salts/minerals back into the water!![]()
