You want half a puffer?! I don't think your lfs will split one for you.

But in all seriousness, I'm really not qualified to give you an answer. I've heard that its almost impossible to cycle a tank less than 5 gallons, so I don't if it would be a suitable home for even a dwarf puffer.

a dwarf puffer would be ok
no tank is too small to be cycled
all it needs is a filter

info on dwarf puffer, pretty sure thats the only puffer that could possibly go in a tank that size.

i wouldn't keep a dwarf puffer in anything smaller than 5 gallons though, this being a single puffer.

i wouldn't keep more than 1 i don't think, i think they're aggressive
