i am planning on getting a 30 gallon freshwater tank. i will stick artificial rocks and plants in it and let it cycle before i stick any fish in. i want to stick some fish in but i don't know if they will be well suited for it and i want some opinions on it. i want to stick an angel ram and possibly two. i also want to stick two pairs of angelfish. will they fight? thanx ahead of time!

So glad you'll be cycling without fish, here is an article on it if you havn't already seen it: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/421488-cycling-your-new-fresh-water-tank-read-this-first/

What are the dimensions of your tank? Is your water soft or hard, pH?

You *might* be able to put in 1 angel, but would wait on someone else to say on that. You certainly can't have two pairs of angelfish. There would not be enough room for them and I'm sure they would fight.

What kind of rams are you wanting, bolivian or german? German could be more sensitive and so wouldn't recommend them. Bolivian may be okay though depending on the type of water you have.

what are your tank measurements?

Angelfish are very tall fish so they would need a tank that is at least 18"/45cm high. Given that most 30gs are 16" or less, I would avoid them.
