I noticed that these eggs stuck to the side of my tropical fish tank, any ideas what the could be?

4 Neon tetra, 2 Black neon tetra (pair), 3 honey Gourami (2 female 1 male). I also have a few snail dotted around but i dont think they are snail eggs..

any ideas??

If this was your tank would you remove them??

looking at your sig it could be Labrador eggs

some sort of worm/insect egg maybe..

just found a long strip of the, about 3cm long.

ideas??

What part of snails...made you think insect/worm? lol.

Snails...

And just again if you missed it... Snails.

Do you know exactly what types you have?

Gilled snails, Rams horn snail, Milayan snail. hope that helps

Gilled Snails? These are looking the most likely.

Ramshorn eggs don't look like that.

And do you mean malaysian trumpet snails?? If so then they don't lay eggs. They give birth to live young.

it's not Rams horn snail or Milayan snail eggs. Never seen gilled snails eggs which is a possible chance from your stocking list as it's not a fish egg.

I just googled gilled snail eggs and all of the pictures look nothing like these, they aye see-through blobs of gell with lots of spots in them.

Well from what I've read gilled snails aren't a 'proper' name. And actually it covers quite a few species of pond snails.

Put it this way, they are DEFINITELY snail eggs.

okay thanks, i'm gonna remove them cus i dont want my tank to become snail city!!
