What Are The Most Peaceful Fish

My Honey Gourami's are also peaceful.

My Red Tail Shark is to, oddly. But theres not a full stocking in there yet, so i'll have to see

My Dwarf Chain Loaches are very peacefull. They flit from one place to the other and are very playfull and don't bother anyone.

I was going to create a thread titled "Peaceful Barbs" but since this topic deals with the same question I figured I'd piggyback

I have been doing some research but as yet haven't come across any peaceful barb fish other than cherry barbs. Are there others breeds that could be kept in a community without displaying aggression?

Cory's are well peaceful. Just keep themselves to themselves. Harlequin Rasboras are peaceful for the mid/top of the tank. Galaxy Rasboras/Celestial Pearl Danio's are very peaceful. Too small to be anything but like, but really appreciate a quiet tank.

Besides the Cherry, there are a few other barbs that are socialable according to the web
Gold (Puntius semifasciolatus)
Sawbwa
Dennisons
Rhomb

I had keyhole cichlids they seemed to get on with other fish and didnt really both too much, i would say they were the most peaceful out of all my community tank

Although my harlequins,ember tetras,glowlights and sparkling gouramis are all laid back also

I can't speak from direct experience, but a friend of mine has some Pentazona (Five-Banded) barbs and they're v peaceful. I've also read several sources claiming they're great community fish.

I think scavengers/catfish should be excluded from the discussion... we all know corys and otos are obvious choices. i'd be more interested in what comes after that.

Molleys, neons, and guppeys are the most non agressive tropical fish. Most bottom feeders just want to eat debris on the bottom, so them too.

Our old angel was quite peaceful. So i could say that, But then again our old male fighter was peaceful with his 5 females, they never tried to breed because they were in a community set-up.
