What are the least Agressive Cichlids????

Uarus get about 12" and need a few of their own kind (or fish that look similar to them) :) And Uarus are also very very non-aggressive :)

Check out the Uaru forum if you are interested :D

Chocolates and Uarus
In the book I have it says they both grow to about 25 cm , or around 10" , both look more like a Severum than an Oscar , the Uaru looking more similar and the chocolate being more elongated than tall [ diff colors though ].

Uarus are recommended to be around more their kind , so they may not work for you :dunno: Ours will eventually be put in with our Severum , we'll see how that goes . [ Uaru amphiacanthoides ] are said to be delicate , we've had 1 for over 2 months , he's been fine , I think he's a little shy as well .

Sure about chocs [ only have old names : cichlasoma coryphaenoides ], may be fine with 1 or 2 other fish .

I've heard the exCichlasoma bocourti and exCichlasoma pearsi are "gentle giants". both grow very large like in the area of 14" or more and from what I've read are relatively peaceful. both are more herbiverous than most other CA's. :)

Yea but unfortunately i dont think these are common and i will most likely not be able to find them in my LFS.
