What Are Betta Bulbs?

I noticed petco was selling betta bulb plants. What are they, and will they grow? What size tank do they need, and do they grow in gravel? I want to try some live plants for my betta.

I think these are a mix of aponogetons and tiger lotus. They can grow but not all of them do from what I've heard.
It'd depend on the actual specie for tank size I think. I had an aponogeton ulvaceus and it completely took over my 20g long.

They are something sold under the mistaken belief bettas eat them.
