I have always thought my tank was 90l as thats what guy told me when i brought it. I have just entered measurements into the tank voulume calculator and its 112L or 30 Gallons.

So that means all the things i have been working out are wrong, my plant fertiliser for one and when i was doding whole tank of prime doh

silly me

Interesting, CheniseMummy, makes us realize that doing a calc on the volume should be something for all of us when we get a new tank of any sort.

Luckily, the amounts were not too far off from each other and probably didn't make a great deal of difference. Often our real water volumes are a fair bit smaller than what the calc would say and certaily what the retailer would put on the sale label (since they go by the outside glass dimensions at the least.)

The doses probably arent that far of. If you where dosing the amount for 90L of water which is probably about the amount of water there will actually be in the tank. Remember you will be loosing water because the water line isnt exactly at the top of the tank its normally about 1" below and and substrate and decorations will take away more water volume so i wouldnt think it would have made much of a difference.

At least thats ok does this mean i can more fish when i contiune to stock as id love to increase my H and have at least 8 Runnynose or penguin tetra to shoal.

I have 6 Harlequins and 1 bn pleco, 3 cherry shrimp & 3 amano shrimp. Fluval 3+ and fluval mini (200lph)

Planning on stocking 2 Bolivian rams, 1 red honey gourami, possibly 6 panda corydoras.

Would like 2 more Harlequins plus the tetras

Yeah that should be fine.
So altogether
1 Honey Gourami
8 Harlequin Rasbora
8 Rummynose Tetra
2 Bolivian Rams
1 BN
6 Panda Corys
3 Cherry shrimp
3 Amano Shrimp

The shrimp could get eaten though the rams are likely to have try of them.

LOL i think the cherry shrimp might have bred alot by the time i get the rams as they will be the last fish i put in so that should be fine if they help keep numbers down.
