What A Bad Day

yesterday was the worst day for me in a long time.

5am, awoke by Bagheera slipping off the bed causing him to insert his claws into my bottom lip so he didn't fall to the floor.
6am, after the bleeding had stopped, found one of my festivums dead. quick water test revealed a slight ammonia level but nothing else wrong.
did a 50% water change.
a few hours after the water change I noticed my filament barbs had excessive slime coats (were fine at the time of the change) and my
black shark was showing signs of cloudy eye. so I dosed with pond melafix then, and acriflavin around 8pm.
9pm, stubbed my toe on the end of the bed.

bed at around 11. you'd think that would be the end of it. Oh no, not at all.

11:50pm, just as I was starting to drift off, Dyllon decided to try and climb up onto one of my tanks, I (bleary eyed)
tried to help him and got this for my troubles

20th June 2007 a day of infamy for sure.

today is much better, the fish are doing ok, no more ammonia and the treatment seems to be working.
wrist is ok but lip is sore still especially when eating salt and vinegar crisps (ouch).

Aww, you poor thing! That lip definatly doesn't sound like fun at all Hope it will heal quickly and well.
Glad the fish are doing better today than they were yesterday though. Bad things usually come in threes, you must be very unlucky indeed. Feel better soon hon

Best invention ever would be......... anti-toe stubbing device. I would imagine it would be like a loud siren that would go off right when your about to stub your toe and would yell "HEY MORON, DON'T TAKE A STEP!!!!!" hahaha

Poor old you anyway Wolf, cats falling off things would kill anyone to save themselves, thank heavens there are not more of them that travel on boats or the woman and children would be cast to the sea.
