Went Fish Shopping Today

Have a 45 gallon tank with barbs and kribs. So when I went to the petstore today to buy a few fish for my son's tank I bought myself 3 blue gouramis, 2 female 1 male. Took awhile between me and the employee to pick out the proper sexes but we did it. They sure are nice fish. I wanted to get the red or blue dwarf ones but the red dwarf, whatever their name is, is the one I am going to buy for my son for his 10 gallon, so went with something different. Plus with the barbs and kribs needed ones that are semi aggressive. So now just hoping I have a pair of kribs, had to move one out of tank and bought, i think a male today to replace one i had to take out. They are not so easy to sex, especially young. No more fish for this tank now.

Keep an eye out for any swelling or lesions on your powder blues (i assume it is these?) they are well known for iridovirus....
I'd check where your LFS purchases them from, if imported which country? If singapore don't buy any more....
Anyway hope they are ok and congrats on your new additions

If they do get this virus what are the symptoms and how do you treat it. Do you have a link on this virus so I can do some research on it, so if it happens I know what I am dealing with.
