Well Thanks :) New Tank Has Arrived!

how exciting, it turned up last night at 7:30pm and it took me until 11:30pm for build the stand, clean the gravel and fill the thing up!!!

Very impressed

I've had issues with the size of my new tank too..... have to get a step ladder to do any maintenance and even with one I still can't reach the back of the tank! thank god my fellas nearly a foot taller than me

i still have the Rekord 120's as well, i'm hoping the missus won't make me sell them as we agreed if i got 1 big tank the other 2 have to go. i recon if i stay quiet

buy her a few pairs of shoes, then everytime she mentions the tanks give her some shoes to distract her, hopefully she'll forget soon enough

LOL same here my tank is 180 gallons 6x2x2 and if you add the height of the glass on the stand it's just over 4 feet high i'm 6.2" but i still struggle to lean over and get to the back of my tank especially when the Oscars dig up my plants and i have to replace them ... lol

I've a juwel trigon 350, from the front to the back is 123cm and the top of my tank comes up to my chin! I'm only 5'6. Even on a stepladder I can't reach the floor of the tank, have to use my gravel vac to move stuff around the tank, not planted it cos they wouldn't stand a chance with my Oscar Ian's 6'4 and he still struggles a bit getting to the back of the tank. Think I'm going to have to get a little footstool thing for the living room that can double as something to climb on to do stuff with the tank. Don't like the addition of a stepladder to my living room!
