Well, all right. ;D I went to see a 55-gallon tank today (it's HUGE -- it's a 4-footer), and we're getting it! ^^;

It's used, and the person only charged $100 for the tank & stand, and it's very dirty, so we'll have to clean it. ^^; The filter's ugly (it has a metal box-thingy, and then a bar running through the water, at the top, still in the water), so we'll probably change *that*, too. ^^;

Nows -- the fish in there were two brown-orange gouramis (they had long whisker-thingyies, like most gouramis do), a 3-inch fish that was orange with yellow stripes, or was it the other way around(?), don't remember, a big white fish with red fins (looked sorta like a shark, around 4-5 inches long), and 2 sucker fish. ^^;

Any ideas? :/ Also, would I (maybe) be able to put any of my current fish in that tank? ^^; My Mom likes the big fish, but.... I wanted smaller fish for that tank. :( Oh, well; it doesn't matter. Can anybody (maybe) tell me what these fish are? ^^; The tank has been set up for around 7-8 years, now; the one big fish has been in there for around.... Ohh, maybe 6 years, or so, and who knows how old it was before that....??! They got it from a friend. ^^; :)

The gourami sounds like maybe pearl gourami? Not sure of the orange/yellow fish unless its a gold gourami? The white shark with red fins sounds like a tin foil barb which isnt really suitable for that tank. When you say sucker fish do you mean plecs or sucking loaches?

No, the "shark" is more longer and white than that. ^^; Idk, the orange/yellow one looked like a smaller version of the "shark" fish; and I don't know with the suckers, they were just, well.... stuck to places. :/ Brown with spots, if I believe that I remember correctly. ^^;

I'm going to try to convince my Mom to get rid of some of those fish.... I wanted a shoaling tank. :<
