I went into the lfs today in order to buy two more ladies to properly start my sorority. I found a nice big red vt female (2rays is vt right?), and a little light blue girly. All 5 girls are now in the big 4ft 200L in my living room. So far everyones getting along, a little bit of flaring between little blue & little black but nothing serious. Little black has surprise me, a bit of a little miss really. She's already flared up at my poor angelfish Rocky and Rocky didn't even take any notice of her she's so tiny. Rocky flicked his tail and little black took off pretty quick...I don't think she's as tough as she makes out :p

Pictures when they've all settled.

New fish are exciting, you get to know them as much as they get to know eachother...

I'm still getting to know some of my new Bettas, it's fun seeing how very different they are! Mine are all solid whites from Aquabid. All siblings, and born on my birthday (making them 3 months old) and they are all SOO different in temperaments!

Of the 3 girls I have 1 laid back and well adjusted one, one jumpy and speedy one, and one who looks like she is full of eggs and ready to spawn... And super interested in my black male that her tank faces. It's really cool seeing all the different personality types and their little quirks.

;)
Don't forget to enjoy getting to know them! It's a load of fun

Glad you found some more girls that you liked  I hope they all settle in well, and I will be looking forwards to pics ;) .

Have come to the conclusion little black is the one to watch, she's thinks shes the queen of the tank lol :p I have to admit ive grown very fond of what I think is a pale pastel blue Cambodian female ( will get you guys to clarify) who is such a sweet heart. Just stays out of everyones way & explores the tank. I'll have to keep an extra eye on her two as I think she'll get picked on a little :/ also, little blue looks STUNNING! She's got quiet a large amount of tail and fin on her... Very pleased :)
