I have got use to seeing Vinny & Harry sleep nose down in the gravel and the clown loach acting dead on their sides or Jethro (plec) with his tail on the bogwood and his nose on the glass suspended mid tank. However last night I couldnt sleep so I came down stairs. I swtiched on the tv for a bit of light and nearly screamed because Harry was floating on his side at the surface just bobbing in the current. My stomach was churning as I stood looking at him, tears started because I was convinced he was dead. Then the booga moved and righted himself and gave me a disgusted look for waking him

Never heard of that before, classic!

My last two oscars you to sleep top to tail floating at the surface on there sides, my chocolate cichlid goes a yellow colour and shoves himself in the corner nose up using a peice of slate to stop him blowing around, my hoplo catfish sleeps bottom up in a plant, always makes you think hes dead

my clowns sleep on their side, nearly frightened me half to death when i first saw them do that, thought they were dying
