LilyRose Tank
Fish Herder
hello there again. It me, the pita you thought you got rid of...haha
when i took my tank apart some months ago I left the gravel in a bucket in the garden.( with a view to restarting fishkeeping some time in the future)I have decided to give it a go, once again, and so set about changing the kitchen atround to accomodate said tank and its cupboard, Having done that, I went through all my fish keepeing equipment to see what needed replacing, and to my joy found everything I need is already here. Sponge filters, carbon filters, filter , heater, etc all here....just need to scrub so to speak. So got down to the arduous task of cleaning the gravl. And to my surprise wildlife living in there. Now I'm no expert (certainly not with my russish experience with multiple counts of dead fishstock from disease or whatever) but is it possible to inadvertently grow a bloodworm culture? and also maybe another sort of culture.....could be tadpoles, could be mosquito larvae...have no idea what the little black darlings are but look like a few week old corydoras....I know this is impossible......( corydoras anyway) so what are these little black wrigglers.....anyway, washed the gravel out and is being cleaned as we type, but I am curious what there were/are...sorry no photos too surprised to think straight...typical me I know. so smallred works....really look like bloodworms, and tiny black head on a stick creatures, like baby fry.
