Hey just wondering, is watercrest okay to put in an aquarium?

Im not sure what the scientific name for it is, but it grows in lakes at my uncle's place, and was just wondering if it is safe to put in an aquarium? thanks

<I am guessing here>
I think it would be fine, the only thing I wonder about is whether it would be too hot for it.

Let me know if it works, it would be pretty fun to show someone your tanks and then start grazing out of one of them.

hey De Plano,

yah its not quite watercress season, so wont be able to get any anytime soon. but if/when i do, i will try it, as apparently (from reading on the web) that its best to let it float atop the tank as the leaves grow out of water, and the roots will hang down. the roots that hang down can be eaten by the fish (apparently they like it) hehe so i guess its more of a fish food than decoration eh?
