Depends on what fish you are keeping, cold water? Tropical? Temperate? Pygmy cories? Rosy red minnows? Bettas? Discus? It all depends on the species of fish and where they are from in the wild, to determine the "best" temperature for the tank

But what exact species are you planning on having, you might not know that some of the fish that you have could actually do better with temps of like 74 to 75 galaxy rasboras and guppies are a good example

On average a good temp for most tropical fish is about 78
