Water Problem

i have ex700 external filter and a aquaflow 1 internal filter running my 4ft tank. The water is pretty clear from the front but down the side its murky. Its been like this since i set it up 4 months ago. I as only running the external filter so i put the internal filter in last monday and it has not made any differnce. I have ordered a small air pump, air line and air stone for my ornament to see if it helps and for a bit o effect. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to make the water any clearer?

What are your water stats? PH, Ammonia, NitrIte, NitrAte.

How did you cycle the tank?

What is it stocked with?

How often do you change your water?

Sorry for all the questions, but there could be several reasons for cloudy water.
