Water Hardness

Hi

Can any one. advise me on the best way to lower the PH in my tank, It ranges from 8-8.4, some of the fish i like i read require lower PH than my tank's.

I want to put some gold tetras in the tank and have read it requires lower than the PH i have stated.

have you considered a mix of RO water and tapwater?

either R0 water, rainwater or lots of bogwood and some peat i wouldnt reccomend the chemical adjusters though

reverse osmosis.
try the search function and you'll find loads of thread on RO...

c02 units lower ph, if you have a planted tank i strongly recommend getting one as it boosts plant growth no end.

RO can gte expencive tho ... i was thinking of that i getting loads of bogwood now i have low KH so that will help i have about 7.8 ph but need it to drop to about 6 for the fish i wanna get in my 47gal so ill need to ro peat and bog wood lol
