Water Changes

Hi,when i wc i take water from hot tap and cold tap to get wright temp,the water from hot tap comes out really chalky and murky but the cold tap is crystal clear,ive tested both taps and results were identical-ph nitrate etc,anywayz would it be better if i just used cold tap and boiled a few liters to raise temp for wc,i thought of setting a giant dustbin with fluval u2 to prepare water for wc?

I have 3 of those water bottles they use for drinking water ie: http/lifehackery.com/qimages/5/water%20gallon.jpg

And I fill them up after I've finished a water change with just cold water. When it comes round to doing a wc again, these are at room temp AND the chlorine has gassed off. I would never use water from hot water tap. Depending on how your water is heated (in a tank, or by a boiler or both) then that water has been through a lot of messy pipe-work! Put it this way, would you drink it?

Yeah the tank in the loft is horrible and ur wright we not ment to drink it

no filter needed just a heater and airstone in a holding bin for water

in a holding bin as i call it no need for carbon
and as for peat you put that in a filter bag
you can get them at your LFS and just hang it in the water
i used to use our lasses tights lol new ones like that's why
i got a bat lol and that's all you need oh for got a thermometer
