Hi there,

I do a weekly water change of 25%, i was just wondering if it is safe to increase this to two 25% changes a week. I like to keep my tank looking its best at all times and have time to perform these water changes, but was just curious whether or not it was safe to do so.

:) :)

IMO that would be fine, some of the most sensitive fish require water changes two to three times a week. So I would think it would be better then once if you have the time and energy to put into it.

I second smooth_bourbon's post. Keeping water fresh is probably one of the best possible measures for the health of your fish. Two 25% changes per week won't do them any harm at all-- in fact it would probably do them a lot of good. I'd worry more about if you yourself had the time to fit them in to your schedule. :) HTH~
