hi all.
so the seals on my tank are starting to look pretty naff though still holds water.
ive recently aquired a 60l tank which im going to reseal as i got it cheap because the seals are going.
so is it worth changing the seals in my main tank even though it still holds water or leave it.
if i should reseal will my occupants be ok.
they are currently in a 170l
they are
20x female bettas
7x peppered cories
2x bn plecs

That would be awfully overstocked

Depends on how long? I mean I've seen 20 bettas in a fish store and am sure we've all seen it. If it's for a few days, Go for it. If we are speaking weeks thats when issues arise.

it'll be a case of my emptying my tank
washing my tank
scraping off the dodgy silicon
re-sealing.
day too seal hopefully.
put back in :)
i'd still run my external on there so still have enough bacteria

oh, if it's only temporary it should be fine
you may have problems with the sorority though?

I would pick up the biggest plastic storage tote I could find, clean it up, put all the water and plants and fish in this tote, and then reseat both tanks at the same time. You'd have the filter running in the storage container. It needs to be large enough that your girls won't kill each other.
