You might try the buy sell forum. I know there are breeders in the UK on TFF, but I don't know about Ireland. I suppose you can get some shipped.

Hi there

I have never seen HM or CT for sale in Southern Ireland (I live in Waterford). The only Bettas I have seen (and bought) apart from VTs is one male fantail sold to me as a female VT and one female DT. I was about to breed both as they were both pearl white opaque (and could have given you some babies) but came back from holidays last week to an empty dry tank (despite paying a friend to look after them). Let me know if you find any source of anything un-VT, I will do same. All the HM, PK, and CT stock on aquabid just puts Irish stock to shame.

You might want to check into joining the International Betta Congress (IBC). You can pretty much get any type of betta you want, very high quality, for relatively little cost.
