I doubt this will work... Considering 99% of this board is based out of another country, and the other 1% probably don't live near me...... But I know there's at least ONE person in PA on this board.

I have 1 "Jellybean Parrot" (aka Blood Parrot / Pink Convict hybrid) that needs a new home. It's a really beautiful fit fish (I can take a picture later), but I want a more community oriented tank and this fish is obviously not a community fish.

My girlfriend gets really sad because we learned the hard way that this fish can't be mixed with community fish (before we knew much about fish), but she loves the look of the community tanks.

I don't know what to do with it. But if anyone's willing to take it off my hands I will gladly give it to you for free. I think I am going to call some pet stores tomorrow and see if they will take it off my hands.

I would ship as long as someone tells me how to safely do so. Haha.

depends on how much it is...also it's not for me. I have to talk to my sister about it. She's been looking for jb's. I should talk to her sometime tommorrow.

Let me know. I believe it's a male (I heard that the females have a somewhat orange belly?). He's tough as hell though.

Before I adopted / inherited him from my friend, he lived through TONS of horrible water conditions with no problems what so ever... My friend accidently unplugged the heater for 3 days in the middle of winter, no problem. He didn't change the filter for months and when I looked at it the water was just pouring over the top of the filter, and no problem. He didn't feed him for a couple weeks straight, no problem.

I think my friend was trying to kill him off, which is why he was happy when I took him haha. None-the-less, what I'm getting at is that if we had to ship him like 2-3 day mail (first class) instead of airmail or overnight mail, I have a feeling that he'd live through it. It sounds bad, but I'm convinced that this thing can't die haha. I'd be willing to pay for that type of mailing, but if you want something quicker then that it'd be up to you.

USPS doesn't regulate the shipping of fish within the US whatsoever. You're free to just pop him in a box and away he goes, no questions asked :)

she wants it...she'll be in touch in a matter of minutes probably.
