Well I have had Breeding convicts in my tank, and all they do is breed!!! I want to get rid of them.

The first option is, get something that is really really lively which I can have about 5-6 of.

The second option is get something that will be really aggressive and lively, and that will always be out from hiding.

Any ideas are grateful.

That sounds like a convict to me

I'd suggest going for a more peaceful community-type setup to be honest. If you want a very colorful, lively tank, consider getting a male banded gouramies (colisa fasciata), 6 praecox rainbowfish, 4 dwarf chained loaches (botia sidthimunki) and a trio of platies.

Alternatively, if you want to stick with cichlids, some of the more peaceful or dwarf species would work in a community-type setup consisting of a pair of the cichlids plus a large school of hatchetfish, tetras, barbs, danios or rasboras.

Hi. When i read that you are looking for some fish that are really really lively, Danios first came to my mind. Pick a Danio that you like and get a group of them. They are always buzzing around the tank.
