Not for everyone but here is my second attempt.

Not too sure what the purple/green plant is at the end but got a fair mox of plants in there, not sure all will live as some were impulse buys that may need ferts or CO2 but shall see about that further down the line.

Thanks for looking

Rob

I think the tank is 8cm so something around that, came with no lid though so i made something to keep the light in.

Thanks for your reply :)

Love the improvement.

You could fill the things with plants in theory, but being a thin tank my concern would be that it would limit flow a lot and potentially become difficult for plants to grow in. Definately space for more plants i think.. Maybe straigher growing ones like ludwigia.

Remember the crypts can be broken up into smaller plants to spread them out if you so wish :good:

WOW!! Great job, looks awesome :good: . Make sure you don't burn your eyes out with 2 monitors and a couple of fluorescents. ;)

This looks awesome mate, Probably could get a few more plants in, But as said above may limit flow. All in all. Im jelous. and you have now put the idea of one of these in my head.

How is it mounted too the wall... How much does it way? :) Love it! :good:

Hi, thanks so much!
It is on two L brackets, the same as a TV. I think there are still quite a few on ebay with free delivery, all the stats should be on there :)

Good luck, let me know how it goes!

Not too sure about the weight but it isnt much as there isnt too much water in there :)

I have looked at these a few times over the day haha. So tempting to get one. Looks awesome. Hmm... Seems like it would be pretty stable on the wall then? How are you running the cables? in the wall cavity? Tanks for your help mate. :)

The one I have has one power cable that goes into a shelf underneath the tank, the shelf then has four power adapters so you can plug your light, heater etc all into this with only one power cable down the wall. I have got a bit messy with my cables lately though as have been taking and moving things a lot! I imagine it wouldnt take much to put it into the wall though. It is very stable on the wall!
