Waftys First Flare And Wiggle Dance

Thank you :good: I am so chuffed he has settled in well after his trauma at the lfs. Went back there today to get some bits and bobs for my another animals and saw they had moved another betta into the tank i had rescued Wafty from (with tetras and red tip sharks), it's fins were ripped to shreds and it looked really stressed. Poor thing :-( if I could get a tank splitter to get them both in my tank he would have come home, but it is such early days for wafty I don't want him upset by suddenly having half his tank and a new neighbour. Got the LFS to move the poor blue chap into another tank with less feroucious occupants but felt awful walking away.

Aww, it is hard to walk away. But you did what you could and thats a good thing!
Im sure the betta will be happier away from that tank!

Your betta is very beautiful by the way :)

Thanks catherine, I am fast becoming a betta addict driving Mr TubbyLaLa nuts reading and researching all the time, and having visions of starting a little betta rescue once I have had more experience of these gorgeous fish!! Looking at our big sofa thiking we don't really need that and wondering how many nice sized betta tanks I could fit in the space :shifty:
