Do fish need vitamins? Will it help to keep them healthy? Anyone know of any thats readily available? My fish are all healthy but just want them.

Fish need vitamins just like dogs or humans. Vitamins are usually found in whatever you feed them though. A balanced diet should provide them all the vitamins they need!

Are you looking for the equivalent of a multivitamin tablet or something more specific?

There are special flakes available for enhancing color etc. Also each brand of food has its own set of special vitamins.

some lfs sell liquid vitamins for fish. many puffer keepers soak thawed shrimp in these types of liquid vitamins before feeding the shrimp to their puffers. :)

A Multivitamin that can be dropped into the water or somethng like that.

I don't know where you live, but waterlife do a liquid vitamin supplement for fish.

There is zero scientific evidence that fish will uptake any kind of vitamins from the water. The back of the bottles of the fishy vitamin supplements will tell you there is, but caveat emptor (that is, the buyer beware). The vitamins will come from feeding a varied and complete diet.

I have found Hikari have an excellent all round choice of foods. I havent come across multivitamins that can be mixed with water and I wouldnt trust them (like Bignose said)
