well vinny has just started on his journey to mags along with the golden nugget and the pair of kribs. its kinda bittersweet , im sad to see vinny go but im happy hes going to a good home with mags and im looking forward to the challenge of doing the planted discus tank ( hopefully i should be able to start it next weekend) . enjoy him mags hes a complete nutter hope he gets there safely .

ok cheers hun , i was starting to think you had gone out cos i rang you twice. they left about 20 mins ago should be with you sometime around 7 to 730 ish .

bagging was interesting !!! good job i got 4 of the big thick koi bags cos he spazzed out and put a dorsal spine thru the 1st bag but when i put him in another bag and doubled it up he calmed down and touch wood will stay that way !

they are all bagged individually with a bag of hot water in to help keep temp up and packed with loads of newspaper , so they should stay fairly still, oh you also got 2 free valis plantlets as they ended up in the bag with vinny!

I feel for you Mark, nice to move onto a new challange but sad to see an old mate go, Minxy will spoil him rotten. I am really awful at parting with fish, I just usually get another tank, but I am seriously out of room. Its a good job Minxy has just bought my spare rio 300 else a wall or 2 may have been removed to fit it somewhere!

Really looking forward to the pics, looking forward to meeting Vinny in person, which no doubt I will do, Hubby will see him tomorrow when he delivers the tank.

hopefully he will arrive safely and will of got his colour back by then , he gos pale when he gets stressed by being moved , but his colour especially his facial markings is a lovely deep bright orange .

He will soon get his colour back, especially when he meets Harry, then he will have to show off to him, it will be a contest to see who is more colourful and proud Ive no doubt Boys will be boys.

Arrived 20 mins ago, in very very hot water So I released him immediately, seems ok, Harry is bigger than Vinny, more rounded and swishing his tail at him to show dominance, Vinny is just swimming around ignoring him

Makes me want to cry, not only did he make the treacherous journey but he found a friend at the other end.
