currently
7 redfinned tetra (NOT dollars), 4 apollo sharks, 2 filament barbs, 7 clown loaches, 1 fire eel,
2 bichirs, 1 eelcat, 1 tiger loach, 3 reedfish, 1 festivum, 1 Asian USD catfish, 1 red severum and 1 jewel cichlid

I love that Red Severum, would leave comment on youtube but haven't registered

I had x3 Filament Barbs and i deeply regret moving them on now (was a tank space issue before i upgraded to 5x2x2), they are lovely fish

How big are your Bichir's? Are they Senegal's? Are they behaving themselves? I had to move mine on a few months back as my Red Rainbows were getting nipped by the Bichir's. I am asking you as my Red Rainbows must be a similar size, shape and swimming type activity as some of your fish in there.

I've got x6 Reed Fish in my 5x2x2, do you have to make special efforts to ensure they get enough food? I've built a special part for them in the middle of my tank with slate roofs and plastic piping, they have it for shelter, but it also serves a good function as i can place prawns and other foods directly into their territory and only them (and my Bristlenose if they notice the food) can get it

Otherwise, by the time my Cichlids and Rainbows have seen to everything, not much food left (if any for the Reed Fish)

wow loads of questions, here goes

the bichirs are 8-9 inch and 9-10 inch each, the smaller is a P.palmas, polli and the larger is a P.delhezi,
they get on very well with each other.

I make no special effort to feed the reedfish, they are quite quick off the mark when the food goes in
and always get their share.

I feed a mix of floating and sinking foods and my cichlids tend to go for the floaters before looking down for anything,
by which time it is mostly gone. :good:

Hey wolf nice tank,
do you have a scientific name for the red finned tetra? they look huge
also whats the fish that is mainly seen in the bottom right hand corner of the tank?
