Well, it didn't take them long to sort out territories and all the females have begun nesting straight away, so they must be happy!

Here's a link to a short video clip of a few of them. The female in the coconut shell is the smallest female (at adult size) and her partner is the only male in the tank with such a prominent nuchal hump (he's also the most aggressive).

Yes, it's fake-planted because these cons just destroy live plants too quickly and I couldn't afford to keep replacing them LOL

A nice tank, pretty fish and look at that sand! The sand I get is play sand too, but it certainly doesn't look that good. Wish it did!

Thanks! It's just Argos playsand - about £3 a bag! Was recommended to me by others on here.

Mine is Quikrete Play Sand, which I've seen others on this forum use in their tanks, but it always looks so much lighter in theirs. Mine looks like a construction project! Grrr.
